Come and learn the art of food storytelling and photography in this half-day workshop with Food Stylist and Photographer, Elodie Bellegarde. Gain invaluable insight into how to create beautiful and delicious visual food stories for your Instagram account or blog.

With more than 6 years experience in the industry, Elodie will share with you all her expertise and knowledge from how to compose an image, which props to use, angles and the importance of storytelling when creating food images. 

If you have ever wanted to create images worthy of a beautiful food magazine, this workshop is a must.

Commonly Asked Questions

Do I need to bring any food to photograph?
No.  All food will be provided for photography purposes.

Will you provide props for us to use?
Yes, all props will be provided.

I have a DSLR camera but don’t really know how to use it.  Will you teach me how to use my camera?
Whilst we touch on the basic technical aspect of photography this is not a workshop designed to teach the various functions of a camera. If you would like to attend a workshop that teaches how to use a DSLR on manual mode please let us know here.

I don’t have a DSLR camera, is it OK to bring my Smart phone?
Yes.  While a DSLR camera has more capabilities, the information taught is relevant regardless of your camera type.

Can I bring a friend and work in a pair?
Yes.  We are happy for you to work with a friend within the practical component.


Elodie Bellegarde

Elodie is a French food stylist, photographer and writer.  After graduating with a Masters in Culinary Arts while living in London, Elodie embraced a career change and has never looked back.  Based in Singapore, Elodie has worked with international brands as well as local and international food publications.

A food enthusiast who baked her first cake at the age of 5, Elodie found the kitchen was the place where she liked to be the most.  Her approach to food and cooking is reflective of her food styling - dishes are unfussy, wholesome and the ingredients are wherever possible, ethically sourced.
