How does this group work?
Each group session will be 2 hours long and facilitated by Helen. The same 6-8 members will attend each session – a great way to make connections with other small business owners.
Topics covered in the Group Coaching sessions will include:
Defining and honing your personal purpose as a small business owner
Understanding your strengths, and how to translate these for success
Overcoming personal blockers such as procrastination, perfectionism or low self-confidence

Commonly Asked Questions
I currently work in a corporate job and I am thinking about starting my own small business soon. Is this course right for me?
Yes! Exploring your vision and mission with a psychological lens can be extremely helpful in the early days as it will anchor the business to who you are as an individual. This will provide a solid platform for you to launch your new business when you’re ready.
I can make it to 4 out of the 6 sessions as I will be away on holidays for two of them. Is there any way I can make up those sessions on another date or receive a discount?
Unfortunately no, we will not be offering make-up classes, substitutes or discounts. Sorry! The group nature of the course means that we need to restrict flexibility. Please ensure that you are available to attend all 6 sessions. If you are sick or unable to attend on the day due to an unforeseen circumstance, we will be able to send you the relevant course material via email to get you back on track for the next session.
I’m a shy person and feel intimidated by groups. Will I have to talk in front of other people and share my ideas with the group?
Not if you don’t want to. We understand that some people will be more comfortable with the process than others, and it is entirely up to you how much you would like to share with the group.
I run a small business with my business partner. Should we both come to the course?
This course is designed as a journey for the individual rather than for the actual business. Of course you and your partner can both come along and look to align your outcomes for the business however it is not essential to do so.
I’ve got a new business idea, but I don’t want to share the idea with the group as I’m worried someone will take it. Can my business remain anonymous?
Of course. As long as you know what you are working towards, there will be no need to share any sensitive information with the group if you don’t want to.
